Poisoning Management: 1. Follow DRSABCD. 2. Ensure you can safely assist them. 3. If conscious, ask them what happened. 4. Never try to induce vomiting. 5. Pick up the poison’s container. 6. Call the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 (24/7, Australia wide). 7. If CPR is needed be mindful of toxic residue on the casualty’s lips.
